Mechanics Plus was purchased by Bill Allen in 2002.  As a child, Bill spent his days watching his neighbor,  Howard repair cars. It was during this time that Bill learned the value of every automobile,.  He learned how the right treatment of a customer and knowledge of the vehicle could extend both the relationship with the customer and the life & performance of any car or truck. When Bill was young he started as a gas station attendant and mechanics helper. There, he learned how to maintain relationships to enhance his repeat business as Howard did. Although Bill was learning the most advanced techniques in auto repair, he never forgot the lessons he learned from his neighbor all those years ago. Howard's Garage used to repair cars for friends and neighbors.  He listened close to the concerns and carefully asked questions before diagnosing the problem. Bill never forgot the friendships Howard developed simply by being respectful of those that chose to do business with him. He never forgot the dual edge sword of success is simply respectful relationships and Quality Auto Repair. Bill is determined to honor Howard by maintaining a business that would truly offer value to the community. He promised himself to always provide value and outstanding service, regardless of how large his business grew.
